Joseph James Labens

LABENS Joseph James Labens, age 75, passed away on February 2, 2024. He is the son of the late John and Jane Labens. Dear brother of Katherine "Linda" Bowes (fiance Kris), John "Butch" Labens, Joanne Gibbons and Violet "Vi" Simmons. Joe is survived by many nieces, nephews and their families. Joe proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was a mechanic who loved to fix and tinker with cars. He also enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, paint by numbers and fishing. Immediate family is welcomed to come to his viewing and funeral beginning at 10:30am on Tuesday, February 13, 2024. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and funeral Tuesday, February 13, 2024 beginning at 11am at the Nulty Funeral Home, 2614 Orthodox St., Phila., PA 19137 (Parking lot on premises). Religious services will begin at 12:30pm. Interment will follow precisely at 2pm Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Rd., Newtown, PA 18940.
