On January 31st, Mary Catherine Oslar (nee McAnany), wife of the late Michael Oslar (Veteran), succumbed to a long battle with cancer. She was a loving mother, devoted sister, and doting aunt who will be missed by all her knew her, including those she is survived by, especially Kevin Oslar (son), Bernadette Oslar (daugher-in-law), Bridget McAnany (daughter), Connor McAnany (grandson), Joseph McAnany (brother), Regina McAnany (sister-in-law), John McAnany (brother), Timothy McAnany (nephew), Patricia McAnany (niece), Riley Ricks (nephew). Awaiting her Heavenly arrival are parents, Francis J. McAnany (Veteran) and Elizabeth McAnany (nee Scheb), Francis K. McAnany (veteran/brother), Anthony J. McAnany (brother), Joseph “Chipper” McAnany (nephew) and Jamie R. Ricks (nephew). Mary was a loyal employee of Temple University, retiring after 20 years. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Mary’s life at her funeral services which are being held this Friday, February 7, 2025 at 10:00 am at Padre Pio Prayer Center, formerly St. Joachim’s Church, 1509 Church Street, Philadelphia, PA 19124.  Her funeral mass will begin at 11am. Interment will follow in St. Denis Cemetery, Havertown, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary's memory to her favorite charity, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
